Funding Allocated for a Destination Management Office (DMO) in the Gambia (3 December, 2003)

Dick Sisman is delighted to announce that the Travel Foundation has allocated funds for the first year running costs of a Destination Management Office (DMO) for the Responsible Tourism Partnership. In addition, it will fund RT training and advisory materials for local stakeholders. During Dick Sisman's next visit to the Gambia (between 5 and 12 December, 2003) he will be looking at ways of establishing a business to fund the DMO in the longer term.
